How to find New Casting Calls

There are many places to find new casting calls; you just have to know where to look. Show biz publications like Variety, Back Stage, and many others are a good place to look. You will not only find auditions and new casting calls but you will also know what is going on in your industry. Not only that but you also get really good articles about the industry that you will find quite interesting.

New casting calls can also be found on Craigslist. A lot of people post jobs on Craigslist, so if you browse the section for entertainment jobs you will see new casting calls and auditions. The awesome thing about Craigslist is that it is updated daily, so you can check it everyday to see the newest auditions and casting calls. A little tip for using Craigslist is to use its RSS feed. Simply find the RSS feed link and copy that link, than paste the link into a RSS feed reader. Google RSS Feed if you don’t understand, but it’s basically a platform that will grab the RSS feeds that you put into it and display it for you as it updates.

My last place for you to look for new casting calls are on social media sites such as Facebook, Myspace, and Twitter. A slew of business use these sites to meet their fans and interact with them. Do some research on companies that do auditions and castings, than see if they are members of any social media sites. Many will be members of at least a few of these sites. New castings calls will be put up by them, so if you are following them you will get access to them first!

Now that you know where too look you should have no problems finding new casting calls.
